"It has been more than fifteen years since I graduated college. Since that time I have drifted away from learning new things, until this course. I am renewed as far as technology is concerned. Thank You."

The University of Pittsburgh program is designed to bridge the gap between the science community and K-12 teachers and students. This is accomplished by providing cutting-edge technology and developing new techniques for incorporating that technology into the classroom. After attending a 5-7 day workshop, participants are eligible to request Pitt Kits for classroom use. Teachers can request science kits containing all the materials, supplies, and equipment required to perform workshop protocols with their students. Additionally, a Resource Teacher from the IU1 Center for STEM Education can be scheduled to assist with the experiments.
